Frequently Asked Questions

Mountain Laurel Lake is a private lake and does not require a fishing license. Only cabin guests are permitted to fish. 

The lake is stocked with bass, crappie, blue gill and catfish. 

There are different hiking trails to pick from, varying in levels of difficulty.

The trails are beautiful all year round with abundant wildlife flourishing on our hunt-free property. There are creeks and dramatic cliffsides sprouting new waterfalls with heavy rains to enjoy along trails. 

You are welcome to bring your own small kayak or canoe, but we do not have a boat ramp and do not permit gas powered motors on the lake. 

Each cabin has private lake access with a 2 person trolling motor fishing boat provided. 

Yes, each cabin has a gas fireplace that is controlled by remote. 

Please note: the fireplaces are turned off during the summer months. 

There are no open fires allowed anywhere on Mountain Laurel Lake property.
