Wildlife Found at Mountain Laurel Lake
A variety of wildlife can be seen at Mountain Laurel Lake. Some of the wildlife seen include, White-tailed deer, squirrels, a wide array of birds, and beautiful wildflowers. Below are just a few of the native flora and fauna found around the woods and lake.
Swamp Milkweed is one of two varieties of milkweed found at Mountain Laurel Lake. Milkweed plays host to the Monarch Butterfly during the summer.

The Indigo Bunting can been seen as well as heard around the lake during the spring and summer months. There are also a variety of birds seen year-round including the beautiful Northern Cardinal.
